  • Cup of Excellence 2012 Colombia Lot #8: Juan Antonio Cuastumal

      A lot of exciting new arrivals from Colombia: two micro-lots and two COE lots from the 2012 competition Lot #28 had an international jury score of 86.05 points, with notes as follows: AROMA/FLAVOR: floral, citrus, molasses, papaya, honey, basil, jasmine, grape. ACIDITY: lime, lemon, orange, honeydew melon, refined; OTHER: bold, juicy, rounded mouthfeel, consistent.

      We would like to introduce the newest member of our Invalsa Lab cupping team in La Paz: Mery Avircata. Mery was an International Judge in the Bolivia Cup of Excellence in 2005, 2007, and 2008.
